Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Threat Intelligence Engineer to join its Threat Intelligence function. You will analyze threat data, maintain indicator pipelines, and contribute to security workflows across the organization.

You'll work under moderate supervision to produce intelligence products, draft IOCs, and support CSIRT, Vulnerability Management, and PSIRT activities as capacity allows, applying MITRE ATT&CK mappings and STIX formatting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in threat intelligence, security operations, threat hunting, or related cybersecurity role.
• Familiarity with intelligence production lifecycle and threat actor profiling.
• Experience with enterprise SIEM/EDR (e.g., Sumo Logic, CrowdStrike).
• Understanding of adversarial techniques in open-source ecosystems and IOCs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist collection, processing, and analysis across intelligence workflow.
• Draft threat actor profiles, campaign summaries, and indicator packages.
• Ingest, validate, and score IOCs from various feeds.
• Support IOC pipelines integration with SIEM/EDR platforms.
• Contribute to threat intelligence summaries and briefing materials.
