Job summary

Watches of Switzerland Group PLC in the UK is seeking a Cyber Security Threat Intelligence Engineer to deliver actionable threat intelligence that strengthens security controls and detection capabilities across the organisation, reducing risk through informed decisions.

Initially the role splits 60/40 between hands-on engineering work and threat intelligence duties, building out the threat intel function, working with SOC and engineering teams to embed intelligence into EDR, SIEM, identity and

Qualifications

• Experience building internal threat intel from ground up.
• Experience in threat intelligence or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of security controls, detection logic, identity systems and endpoint security.
• Experience with engineering teams (EDR, SIEM, Identity, Cloud, Networks).
• Ability to convert intelligence into detection logic and engineering requirements.
• Experience analyzing adversary TTPs, malware behavior, exploit chains.
• Hands-on involvement during investigations, containment and post-incident tuning.
• Familiarity with threat intel platforms and OSINT tooling and automated pipelines.
• Ability to produce concise, actionable intelligence summaries.

• Deliver actionable threat intelligence to inform engineering controls and SOC operations.
• Transform intelligence into detection logic and engineering requirements for hardening.
• Embed intelligence into EDR, SIEM, identity, cloud controls and automation.
