Third Party Management & Resilience Analyst - Operational Resilience - Business Continuity Planning - Banking
Excellent opportunity opens for a Third Party Management/ Resilience Analyst with strong Vendor Officer/ Vendor Manager and onboarding and offboarding experience to join a leading International Bank's London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting vendor and supplier onboarding and offboarding, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role contributes to the daily operations and continuous development of the third‑party management function, reporting directly to the Head of Operational Resilience & 3rd Party Management.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Vendor/Supplier Relations:
- Support in overseeing and managing external vendor/supplier relationships to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to policies.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for all vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with enterprise‑wide standards.
- Implement and monitor ongoing vendor risk management practices to mitigate potential risks associated with outsourcing.
- Support in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Track and oversee renewal and expiry dates of all contractual agreements, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Support the preparations of presentations, reports and other documentation relevant to the department.
- Handle any additional duties as assigned by management.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Measure and report vendor performance.
- Analyse data to optimise relationships.
- Identify sourcing opportunities and support tenders.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and cost efficiency.
Business Continuity:
- Support in developing, implementing, and maintaining a corporate‑wide Business Continuity Plan (BCP) program, including policies, procedures, and framework documents.
- Coordinate with departments to identify critical business functions and ensure appropriate continuity strategies are in place.
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments to determine potential threats and their impact on operations.
- Support the testing and validation of BCP and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans through regular simulations and tabletop exercises.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure BCP compliance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to ensure alignment between BCP and technical recovery capabilities.
- Support the line manager in aligning BCP planning, initiatives, and goals with the bank’s strategic objectives and infrastructure capabilities.
