Job summary

CPV Ltd, based near Romsey, Hampshire, is seeking a Plastic Fabricator to join a modern production facility. The role offers progression from a trainee (£11.44ph) to experienced (£15.00ph) with a 39–44 hour week, overtime at enhanced rates, and 25 days’ leave plus public holidays.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, welding and jointing thermoplastics, fabricating components, and working with templates and jigs. Full training provided in a busy, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or Level 2/3 engineering qualification.
• GCSE Maths and a Science qualification desirable but not compulsory.
• IT qualification in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and construct plastic pipe assemblies, tanks and vessels.
• Fabricate, assemble, form, reshape, rework and repair plastic products.
• Read production orders and use templates and jigs to guide fabrication.
• Carry out weld testing and inspection and ensure quality.
