Job summary

ExentecHargreaves is seeking a skilled Thermal Insulation Engineer to install, maintain and repair insulation on HVAC systems, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with UK regulations.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Thermal Insulation, CSCS card, and awareness of health and safety practices, including PPE and working at height certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC or mechanical insulation installation.
• Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations including PPE.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• NVQ Level 3 in Thermal Insulation.
• Gold CSCS Card.
• IPAF / PASMA certification (for working at height)

Responsibilities

• Install thermal insulation on HVAC systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance
• Ensure all work meets current UK standards
• Operate tools and equipment safely, adhering to site-specific and HSE safety regulations.
• Complete documentation, including insulation records, material logs, and compliance reports.
• Liaise with other engineers, contractors, and site management teams to coordinate work efficiently

We areseekinga skilled and safety-conscious Thermal Insulation Engineer to join our HVAC team. You willbe responsible forinstalling,maintaining, and repairing thermal insulation on mechanical services systems (e.g. pipework, ductwork, )to meet energy efficiency standards and building regulations.
