Job summary

Rhino Recruitment is hiring 8 Thermal Insulation Engineers/Laggers for at least 2 months' work in Irvine, Scotland. Work will involve cutting and fabricating metal sheet cladding to fit onto boilers and pipework. Insulation already wrapped.

Start Date: 07/09/2026. Schedule: Mon-Fri 10 hours; OT after 8 hours, Sat 8 hours OT all day. CSCS/TICA card required; own harness, PPE, and sheet metal experience needed.

Qualifications

• CSCS / TICA card preferred.
• Own PPE and harness required.
• Industrial lagging/thermal insulation experience required.
• Sheet metal experience required.
• Own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Cut and fabricate metal sheet cladding to fit boilers and pipework.
• Insulation already wrapped; install and secure cladding.
• Assist in site readiness and safety compliance.

Rate

• £29 per hour Basic (40 hours)
• £43.50-£45 per hour OT (18 Hours)

Working Days

• Mon-Fri 10 Hours (after 8 hours is OT rates)
• Saturday 8 Hours (OT all day)

• Valid CSCS / TICA Card
• Own harness with lanyard
• Own PPE
• Industrial lagging/thermal experience
