Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital services to a growing population of around 700,000 people living across Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas across two busy hospital sites in Bedford and Luton. The Therapy Service Lead for neurology in and outpatients and complex medicine works within the Therapy leadership team, supporting escalations of patients for discharge and flow through the hospital, and collaborating with other therapy leads to improve services and data collection. The role covers Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech & Language Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics in the acute Trust. The role upholds Trust values and supports staff within their service lines to reach their full potential, delivering high quality care to meet agreed quality standards and providing leadership to band 5 physiotherapist and occupational therapist.
