A health services provider in London is looking for a Therapy Practitioner in Stroke Rehabilitation to join the Integrated Neuro Therapy Team. This role involves providing skilled support to Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Physiotherapists, working with adults recovering from Stroke. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a rehabilitation assistant and skills in enabling patients to achieve maximum independence. The position entails managing a caseload, adapting therapy plans, and facilitating daily living activities.
BAND 4, 37.5 HRS/WEEK MON-FRI 8.15-4.30
There is an opportunity to work as a Therapy Practitioner in Stroke within the Integrated Neuro Therapy Team in Croydon.
The successful candidate will be working on the Stroke unit, Purley 3, with adults who have had a Stroke. You will provide skilled support to the Occupational therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists, enabling patients to achieve their maximum independence.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate previous experience as a band 3 rehabilitation assistant, delivering occupational therapy and Physiotherapy interventions, to patients who have had a Stroke and experience of working with patients who have communication difficulties.
