Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a Therapy Assistant for the Pulmonary Rehabilitation service. Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our Nationally accredited Pulmonary Rehabilitation service on a part time fixed term contract.

The role will involve working with people with long term lung conditions to provide an exercise programme in a class environment at both the main hospital site and community localities.

We are a small enthusiastic team committed to improving the lives of people living with breathlessness.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include:

• Supporting qualified therapists to deliver face to face exercise classes
• Telephone calls to patients to discuss appointments
• Administration tasks linked to the classes
• Maintaining accurate records for patients attending assessments and rehabilitation classes
• Maintaining accurate data in line with the data collection requirements of the service.

The role will include working at sites away from the main hospital, so access to a car to travel to these locations is essential.
