The Therapy Assistant role in Elective Orthopaedics at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a permanent position for 37.5 hours per week. You will participate in the assessment, pre- and post-operative treatment, management and discharge planning for Orthopaedic inpatients and day case surgery patients.

You will be responsible for prescribing and providing walking aids and equipment, keeping accurate records, and delivering equipment around the hospital.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and high level of organisation from the advert.

Responsabilités

• Participate in assessment, pre- and post-operative treatment and discharge planning for Orthopaedic inpatients and day case patients.
• Responsible for prescribing and providing walking aids and equipment to facilitate timely discharge.
• Keep accurate records of equipment provision and deliver equipment to other areas of the hospital.
