Job summary

Branas Isaf Children's Services, part of the CareTech Group, is recruiting a Residential Support Worker in Oswestry. You’ll provide emotional and practical support to children with complex needs and work within a therapeutic care team to help young people grow in a structured environment.

No prior care experience is required as full training and mentoring are provided; a full UK driving licence is essential and you must be willing to work unsociable hours including sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Willingness to work unsociable hours (evenings, weekends, and overnight sleep-ins).
• Ability to commit to sleep ins with a rolling rota.
• No prior care experience required - full training and mentoring provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to children with complex needs.
• Be part of a therapeutic care team alongside education and clinical staff.
• Encourage young people to grow, develop independence, and thrive in a safe and structured environment.
• New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system daily; training provided. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage but not essential.
• Help create Extraordinary Days Every Day through positive, meaningful experiences.
