Job summary

Job Summary

Person Specification

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of radiotherapy planning & treatment delivery
  • Knowledge of radiation biology, radiation dose and treatment fractionation and their implications in the safe delivery of radiotherapy
  • Knowledge of current radiation protection regulations

Desirable

  • Knowledge of specific patient management & verification systems (eg. Mosaiq)

Qualification

Essential

  • Diploma of College of Radiographers (Therapy) or BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy or MSc Radiotherapy (pre-reg) or PhD Radiotherapy
  • HCPC Registered

Experience

Essential

  • Clinical experience in a range of procedures, practices & equipment across the radiotherapy pathway
