Job summary

Homes2Inspire’s residential home in Burtle, Somerset, seeks a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker. You’ll build trusted relationships with children, provide daily care and emotional support, and help develop independence and life skills in a therapeutic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people with complex needs.
• Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins.
• Full UK driving licence required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Provide day-to-day care, guidance and emotional support.
• Help children develop independence and life skills.
• Support access to education, hobbies and community activities.
• Safeguard and promote welfare of children at all times.
• Respond calmly to challenging situations using therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with social workers, education professionals and clinicians.
• Contribute to care planning and record keeping.
