Responsibilities

• Liaise with Care teams in designing and scheduling therapeutic recreational activities.
• Understand principles of Reminiscence and Reality Orientation in elderly care.
• Organise community activities and outings.
• Invite local community groups to participate in functions.
• Coordinate social functions like Birthday Parties and Anniversaries.
• Manage arrangements with catering staff for functions.
• Promote fundraising activities with the Home Manager.
• Submit costs/expenses to the Home Manager timely.
• Keep all equipment accessible yet safely stored.
• Replenish stock levels following financial procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in well-being activities.
• Report incidents to Senior Staff promptly.
• Participate in in-service training and develop innovative activity ideas.
