Gainford Care Homes Ltd. is seeking a dedicated individual to coordinate recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in Throckley. The successful candidate will work closely with care teams to design and schedule engaging activities, understand the needs of elderly residents, and foster community relationships. Responsibilities include managing social functions, promoting fundraising, and ensuring the well-being of residents through various activities. A commitment to resident participation and timely reporting of incidents is crucial for success in this role.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with Care teams in designing and scheduling therapeutic recreational activities.
• Understand principles of Reminiscence and Reality Orientation in elderly care.
• Organise community activities and outings.
• Invite local community groups to participate in functions.
• Coordinate social functions like Birthday Parties and Anniversaries.
• Manage arrangements with catering staff for functions.
• Promote fundraising activities with the Home Manager.
• Submit costs/expenses to the Home Manager timely.
• Keep all equipment accessible yet safely stored.
• Replenish stock levels following financial procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in well-being activities.
• Report incidents to Senior Staff promptly.
• Participate in in-service training and develop innovative activity ideas.
