Job Overview

Chelmsford Theatre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our collaborative technical team. We deliver an ever‑evolving programme of national touring shows, local productions and a hugely popular pantomime, bringing high quality entertainment to Chelmsford.

This role suits someone dynamic and focussed, with a passion for technical excellence and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. Experience across multiple technical disciplines is essential, including lighting, sound, flying, stage management and relevant health and safety legislation. Training and professional development opportunities are available.

The successful applicant will need excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to problem‑solve and prioritise effectively.

This is a full‑time position, 37 hours per week (annualised hours), including evening and weekends.

Interviews are currently scheduled for the week commencing 1st December 2025.
