The Byre Theatre, part of the University of St Andrews, is looking for a full time Theatre Technician, to join the highly regarded technical team at this busy 216 seat venue with its programme of professional theatre, dance music and comedy, screenings, community and student productions and events including the term time resident student led Barron Theatre.

This post joins two existing full time and two part time technicians, line managed by the Deputy Technical and Operations Manager and under the supervision of the Head of Technical and Operations. The post holder will be key in ensuring the safe, efficient and sustainable delivery of events and performances with a range of partners, clients and colleagues.

The post holder will operate shows and help maintain specialist equipment and systems on a daily basis while assisting in the maintenance of the premises.

Contract Terms: Full Time, 36.25 hours per week
