Overview

Theatre Practitioner - Scrub/Anaesthetics (Bank) at Ipswich Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Ad Hoc | Includes possible weekend work. Competitive hourly rate available, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
  • Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
  • Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training

As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will be focused, detail-oriented, empathetic with great communication skills. You will be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and bring relevant post-registration Scrub experience in a Theatre environment.

Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant governing body (NMC or HCPC) for Scrub/Theatre practitioners
  • Post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment
