Mid and South Essex Trust are looking to recruit Theatre Practitioners across all of our hospital sites and specialities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Theatre Practitioner – Charge Nurse / ODP with sound clinical knowledge, Theatre Clinical skills or a desire to develop into a Theatre Practitioner’s role.

Our Theatre Practitioners work towards providing high quality patient care within the perioperative setting. We welcome both experienced and non‑experienced staff to join our supportive team. Training can also be provided to support newly registered practitioners and those looking for a new career direction.

For our successful candidates we will aid in the development of your career, with dedicated full‑time Training and Education Leads. We work closely with Anglia Ruskin University which provides courses such as Perioperative Advances in Safe and Effective Patient Care and the NHS Leadership Academy for leadership courses at different levels. The Trust also provides many other in‑house learning opportunities to support your developmental needs.
