We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our dedicated team within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Theatres at Arrowe Park Hospital. You will play a key role in providing safe, effective and holistic care for women undergoing obstetric and gynaecological procedures, including elective and emergency caesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries. Our O&G theatres are fast‑paced and rewarding, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering excellence in perioperative care.

DBS information – the Trust policy requires the cost of submitting and processing a DBS application to be met by the successful applicant. The costs are recovered via salary deduction following starting in post. Standard Disclosure: £21.50 + £6.50; Enhanced Disclosure: £49.50 + £6.50 (administration fee may increase due to inflation). The amount will be deducted from your salary in manageable monthly instalments for up to three months following commencement of employment. The Trust encourages post holders requiring a DBS to register with the DBS Update Service (Gov.UK). The Trust would encourage all post holders who require a DBS for their role to register with the DBS Update Service.
Nurses applying for apprenticeships should assess their individual eligibility for apprenticeship opportunities in relation to the role.
