We are looking for an experienced Scrub or Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager.

Main duties of the job

Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. It goes without saying privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for total patient care in the perioperative phase. This position has no routine scheduled evenings beyond 17.30 however there is an on call commitment and the theatre team do work at the weekend.

About us

You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse or an HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner and it is essential that you have previous experience in major orthopaedics. As well as being up to date with current research and developments in theatre practise you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department. You will be responsible for ensuring the continual cleanliness of the theatre and equipment. To apply for the role click on the link below.
