Job summary

The successful candidate will ensure patient dignity, comfort, and safety during transfers, assist staff, and maintain cleanliness in theatres. This role requires effective communication, team spirit, and a compassionate demeanor, along with willingness to undertake manual handling duties. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
• Physically able to undertake the duties of the role, including manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Safely and courteously transfer patients to and from theatre while ensuring dignity and comfort.
• Assist with the movement and positioning of patients in compliance with policies.
• Transport equipment and documentation between departments as required.
