Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience working in a clinical environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 and Health and Social Care qualifications are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Nurses during procedures and provide caring support to patients.
  • Transport patients to and from the ward and maintain theatre cleanliness.
  • Prepare instruments before procedures.

Skills

Previous experience as an HCA (or equivalent)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in ECGs and taking blood/blood pressures
Cannulation experience
