Job description

This is an exciting design position with a well-established Online Design Team at Estee Lauder Companies. The team is responsible for hands‑on design and creation of a range of digital assets that support the trading activities of our UK websites across 15 brands.,

Responsibilities
  • Creation of ready‑to‑implement digital assets supporting the trading activities of our UK brands; including localising global assets, editing existing creative and designing from scratch
  • Hero banner design
  • Landing page design
  • Email marketing design
  • Editing and cropping of photographic assets
  • Image composition and manipulation
  • Localisation of creative from our global teams to tailor for the UK market, maximising regional effectiveness
  • Slicing design files to output assets
  • Implementation of designs within the Content Management System
  • Act as 'brand guardian' for a handful of our brands - you'll become the subject matter expert within our team for all things design‑language when it comes to your brands
  • Working alongside our in‑house creative studio on key collaborative projects
Relationships

Will work closely alongside other digital designers, Senior Digital Designer, scrum master, UX, Business Operations and brand stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • In depth professional experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • In depth production design experience creating content for digital formats (banners, landing pages, emails, social content)
  • Solid understanding of responsive web design
  • Ability to understand and interpret brand guidelines and design templates
  • Solid background in digital graphic design with proven understanding of typography, layout and grid structures
  • Image manipulation experience using both traditional and Firefly AI enhanced techniques
  • Good time‑management skills and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Good communication and confident presentation skills
  • Ability to work alongside and mentor junior designers, helping develop their capability
  • Able to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of HTML / CSS
Desirable
  • Interest and knowledge of Web Accessibility
  • Experience of iterating creative based on insights from performance data or A/B testing
  • Experience of designing for dark mode
  • Experience of task management in Jira
  • Interest in luxury and beauty retail
  • Experience of designing within a corporate environment
