The Role

As a Face-to-Face Interpreter, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling communication between people who do not share the same language. You’ll interpret spoken or signed statements in settings such as healthcare, legal proceedings, local government, and more.

Responsibilities

• Interpret conversations for individuals accessing public services (e.g. legal, health, and local authority services)
• Ensure clarity and understanding after each statement or question
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Act as a liaison between service users and service providers
