Overview

About The Role

The Test Technician will provide part of the Company's Testing Services. Test Technician will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role does require being onsite x days a week. Remove which applicable
The salary for this role is circa £31.5k, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
  • Use a wide range of test equipment including Digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers and spectrum analysers
  • Ability to follow test specifications to test electrical cabinets, circuit boards and components and present results clearly on test documentation
  • Report non-conformances using the company's MRP system
  • Fault diagnosis to component level
  • Perform surveys on items returned from service and report findings

The skills you need
  • Qualification to NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline or experience of electronic testing of a wide range of electronic assemblies and systems in a manufacturing environment
  • A good understanding of quality procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential
  • Strong computer skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
