DCV Technologies is seeking an experienced RF Test Technician to join our North London engineering and manufacturing site. You will perform RF and electronics testing, diagnose faults, and contribute to high-quality product assembly and repair.

You will read schematics, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure thorough documentation while adhering to SOPs and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Qualificações

• Minimum two years' experience in engineering, electronics or manufacturing.
• Proven hands-on RF and electronics testing and fault-finding experience.
• Experience in PCB/PCBA rework, soldering and repair.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out comprehensive RF testing, functional testing and fault diagnosis on complex electro-mechanical equipment.
• Perform electronics fault-finding, troubleshooting, repair and rework to maintain high product quality.
• Undertake PCB and PCBA rework, soldering, desoldering, wiring and crimping.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, schematics, technical specifications and test procedures.
• Assemble, inspect and test electronic and electro-mechanical products.
• Identify defects, complete defect reports and maintain accurate test documentation.
• Support SOPs and 5S manufacturing standards.
• Work with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced RF Test Technician / Electronics Test Technician to join an established engineering and manufacturing environment in North London.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive RF testing, functional testing and fault diagnosis on complex electro-mechanical equipment.
• Perform electronics fault-finding, troubleshooting, repair and rework to maintain high product quality.
• Undertake PCB and printed circuit assembly (PCBA) rework, soldering, desoldering, wiring and crimping.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, schematics, technical specifications and test procedures.
• Assemble, inspect and test electronic and electro-mechanical products.
• Identify defects, complete defect reports and maintain accurate test documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and 5S manufacturing standards.
• Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum two years' experience within an engineering, electronics or manufacturing environment.
• Proven hands-on experience in RF testing, electronics testing and fault-finding.
• Practical experience in electronics assembly, repair, soldering and rework.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and detailed test instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable Experience

• Radar systems, marine electronics, defence electronics or RF equipment.
• PCB/PCBA testing, repair and component-level fault diagnosis.
• Cellular manufacturing, quality inspection and continuous improvement processes.
