Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager (Contract) to lead and manage testing activities across a major programme. This role will involve ownership of the test strategy and plan, providing leadership to Business Process Owners (BPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and End Users.

The successful candidate will be expected to take full ownership of the testing approach, ensuring it is fit for purpose, pragmatic, and adaptable to project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the test strategy and test plan, with the autonomy to refine and adjust as required.
• Lead, coordinate, and support a testing team made up of BPOs, SMEs, and End Users.
• Ensure testing covers functional, regression, and end-to-end business scenarios.
• Enable the setup and effective use of RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) to automate regression test runs following initial test execution.
• Oversee and manage test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting through Azure DevOps.
• Use Azure DevOps Boards/Sprints/Test Plans, RSAT, Task Recorder, and LCS effectively to manage testing lifecycle.
• Work closely with programme stakeholders to align test activities with delivery milestones.
• Provide assurance on test quality, risk coverage, and readiness for go-live.
• Proven experience managing test teams in large-scale transformation or ERP programmes.
• Strong track record of owning test strategy and planning, not just executing within a predefined framework.
• Hands‑on expertise with Azure DevOps for Boards, Sprints, Test Plans, RSAT, Task Recorder, and LCS.
• Experience enabling and running automation for regression testing using RSAT.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 Finance and familiarity with its core processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide BPOs, SMEs, and End Users.
• Ability to assess risks and proactively resolve test-related issues.
• Active SC clearance required.
