Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Payment Test Lead in the UK to drive end-to-end testing for a major Payments Transformation program. You will own the Test Strategy, plan, and governance across BACS, FPS, and Pay.UK rules, coordinating with business, technology, operations, vendors, and third parties.

The role requires ISTQB Foundation certification and strong expertise in UK payments schemes, ISO 20022, and testing types (SIT, UAT, OAT).

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Certification is mandatory.
• Experience leading test strategies across BACS, FPS, and Cheque Processing.
• Strong collaboration with business, technology, operations, vendors and third-party partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Lead System Testing, SIT, E2E, UAT, OAT, Dress Rehearsals, and Production Verification Testing.
• Manage testing across BACS, Faster Payments, and Cheque Processing workstreams.
• Coordinate with business, technology, operations, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Drive defect management, risk mitigation, quality reporting, and governance.
• Support release readiness and Go/No-Go decisions.
