SAP UAT Test Lead

Location: Guildford (4 days per week on-site) Contract: Inside IR35 Rate: Up to £600 per day (DOE)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP UAT Test Lead to join Technology client's project team and deliver User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as part of the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This role is critical to ensuring the ERP system meets business requirements and agreed design scope, with full acceptance by the business community.

Key Responsibilities

UAT Preparation

• Define success criteria for UAT.
• Collaborate with business users to create test scripts for system scope.
• Develop scripts for non-standard functionality, negative cases, integrations, and non-functional requirements (security, access, segregation of duties).
• Ensure accurate test data is populated in the test system.
• Plan and schedule UAT in line with project timelines.
• Coordinate and brief business users for testing.
• Communicate test schedules to the test team and system integrator.
• Conduct UAT readiness reviews prior to execution.

UAT Execution

• Monitor test progress and report status.
• Re-plan and re-test where defects occur.
• Capture incidents and defects in CALM and classify appropriately.
• Liaise with system integrator for defect resolution and backlog management.
• Maintain all test documentation and approvals.
• Schedule UAT exit gate with Systems Integration and Executive Steering Board.

UAT Reporting

• Produce burn-down reports and defect remediation updates.
• Report compliance against requirements.
• Identify patterns and systemic issues in defects.
