Test Engineer

£500 per day (Inside IR35)
Remote | Active SC & NPPV3 Clearance Required

Our client, a leading technology consultancy, is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to deliver high-quality manual and automated testing for secure government and enterprise software projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing software.
• Perform manual and automated testing using Ruby and Selenium.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Use Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality and resolve defects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in Ruby (or similar) and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Active SC and NPPV3 clearance (Warwickshire).

Desirable

• API testing (Postman, Rest-Assured).
• Performance or mobile testing experience.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Git.
