Job summary

BMR Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a long-term contract role on behalf of a global manufacturer of specialist equipment for the semiconductor and electronics sector. The role involves electrical and mechanical testing of sub-assemblies and final builds, with emphasis on live test rigs and diagnostic work.

You will perform PAT testing, leak/decay testing on gas, fuel and liquid systems, and diagnose faults using schematics and drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience working on live test rigs is essential.
• Hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Background in manufacturing, production or engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical testing of sub-assemblies and final builds.

Contractt: 12–24 months minimum (strong extension potential)

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of a recruitment agency working in partnership with a global manufacturer of specialist equipment for the semiconductor and electronics sector.

Due to a sustained increase in orders driven by advanced technology and a strong market position, the business is expanding and investing heavily in its site. This growth is creating long-term contract opportunities for skilled engineers.

Salary & Shifts (PAYE)

Early Shift:

Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:00

Friday 06:00 – 11:30

Late Shift:

Monday to Wednesday 14:30 – 00:30

Thursday 14:30 – 00:00

No Fridays

Additional Options:

Fixed early, late shifts available

Overtime:

1.75x weekday overtime
