Test Engineer
Commutable from: Northampton, Milton Keynes, Daventry, Banbury.

Are you an experienced Test Engineer? This is your chance to join a small, collaborative team in a challenging and rewarding role, where your skills will directly support the successful introduction and ongoing testing of new products. You'll work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, with opportunities to improve processes and contribute to high-quality production outcomes.

You will work within a small, close-knit team and be responsible for ensuring robust test processes, improving yield and efficiency, and supporting both engineering and production teams.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with expertise in production test procedures and debugging down to component level. You will be motivated to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions, thrive in a collaborative environment, and contribute to projects that have a real impact on operational performance and product quality.

The Role:

• Provide hands-on support for testing and debugging, support with NPI projects, participate in continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events.
• Office-based role, 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

The Person:

• Degree in Electronics or a related discipline
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, including production test and debugging to component level
• Familiarity with technologies such as VME, PCI, VPX, PCIe, Ethernet, SATA, and 1553
• Proficient with test software, including TestStand and JTAG
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation (drawings etc)
• Strong communication skills
