Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking a Test Engineer to plan and run tests on components, prototypes and finished products to ensure safety, reliability and customer readiness.

You will set up test rigs, instruments and data logging equipment, analyze results and write clear test reports. You will identify root causes of failures and collaborate with design teams to implement fixes, while keeping test equipment calibrated and the lab safe and organized.

Job description

About the role Our cleint designs and builds [products, e.g. automotive systems / industrial equipment]. We need a Test Engineer to plan and run the tests that prove our products are safe, reliable and ready for customers.

What you will do

• Write and update test procedures
• Keep test equipment calibrated and the lab safe and organised

What you need

• Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in a test, validation or development engineering role
• Hands-on experience with test equipment, sensors and data acquisition
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Clear report writing and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Environmental or durability testing experience (vibration, thermal, fatigue)
• Experience with test standards such as ISO 17025
• Data analysis skills in Excel, MATLAB or similar
