Job summary

Adecco in Crewe is seeking a Test Engineer to support automotive engineering programmes by managing test vehicles, rigs and test benches and ensuring hardware and software levels are maintained. You will coordinate readiness and support diagnostics to keep projects on track.

You will also liaise with internal teams, maintain asset status in Confluence and ensure timely bookings, logistics and parts ordering for regression and certification activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive test vehicles, rigs, or system integration environments.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, testing, and software/hardware configuration.
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ODIS, IDEX, or similar.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Test Engineer

Location: Crewe (Full-Time Onsite)

We are seeking an Engineering Systems Delivery Engineer to support Connected Car and Cyber Security programmes through the management of test vehicles, rigs, and test benches. The role will ensure test properties are maintained to the correct hardware and software levels, support testing activities, provide technical support, and coordinate vehicle and rig readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
