Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join the Test Group, designing, developing and assembling test equipment and ground support systems for rocket engines and propulsion.

You will support testing activities, analyse results and work closely with engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable product performance, with potential for extended hours in test facilities and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical engineering experience in test or production environments.
• Knowledge of rocket propulsion and fluid control systems.
• Willingness to work in test facilities, cleanrooms and outdoors with occasional extended hours.

Key Requirements

• Practical, hands-on mechanical engineering or fitting experience.
• Understanding of chemical rocket propulsion and fluid control systems.
• Willingness to work in test facilities, cleanrooms and outdoor environments, with occasional extended hours or weekend work.
• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering or Physics, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with rocket engines, spacecraft propulsion or test equipment design.
• Basic electrical engineering knowledge.
