Fantastic opportunity for a Test & Repair Technician to join a global design, development and manufacturing organisation supplying an extensive range of high-quality, complex products.

Supporting your own key projects, as Test and Repair Technician you will be involved in a number of areas spanning test, repair, maintenance & commissioning of complex electro-mechanical equipment, identifying ongoing improvements and assisting with associated project documentation.

Working within their smart manufacturing facility as Test and Repair Technician you will support the troubleshooting of any unexpected stoppage of complex equipment solutions using your technical skills to fault-find as well as support planned maintenance activities.

As part of a motivated, like-minded team you will support their equipment through the entire life-cycle, looking at repair and maintenance but also issues such as spares provision, maintaining the configuration of test equipment through to ongoing improvements and root cause investigation.

Responsibilities

To succeed in this varied Test and Repair Technician role you will be:

  • HNC/D qualified in a mechanical, mechatronic, electrical, electronic (or closely related) discipline
  • Proven test & repair background/maintenance background
  • Ability to use measuring equipment e.g. micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges etc; Working from engineering drawings
  • A good level of PC literacy
