Overview

Fantastic opportunity for a Test & Repair Technician to join a global design, development and manufacturing organisation supplying an extensive range of high-quality, complex products.

Job Title: Test and Repair Technician; also listed as MRO Technician. Salary: £37-40k. Working hours: Monday to Friday with a half day Friday. Benefits include Share Options, Excellent Pension scheme, Private Medical, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Flexible benefits scheme to tailor benefits, and ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities
  • Support your own key projects as a Test & Repair Technician, involved in test, repair, maintenance and commissioning of complex electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Identify ongoing improvements and assist with associated project documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting of unexpected stoppages of complex equipment solutions using technical skills to fault-find and support planned maintenance activities.
  • Support the equipment through the entire life-cycle, including repairs, maintenance, spares provision, maintaining the configuration of test equipment, ongoing improvements and root cause investigation.
  • Collaborate within a motivated team to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
Qualifications
  • HNC/D relevant discipline in mechanical, mechatronic, electrical or electronic (or closely related).
  • Proven test and repair background/maintenance background.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges).
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • A good level of PC literacy.
