Test Analyst x 3 - All Levels - Bath - New (REF50)

A market-leading organisation is recruiting a number of Test Analysts to join a growing QA function. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise-grade software solutions. This is a hands‑on, delivery-focused role with real ownership over testing across UI, API, and performance, supporting the continuous delivery of high-quality products to clients operating in regulated environments.

The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and technically curious testers who enjoy collaborating closely with developers, product, and delivery teams. You will contribute to the ongoing evolution of testing practices, champion quality across the software lifecycle, and support the organisation’s commitment to robust, scalable, and reliable digital solutions.

Skills & Experience (Essential)

• Strong experience in software testing, ideally within web-based applications.
• Experience in API and / or UI testing, or a strong desire to specialise further in this area.
• Hands‑on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and / or visual testing tools would be highly advantageous.
• Exposure to Python would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with API testing tools or frameworks, or willingness to learn.
• Good understanding of test design techniques and requirements analysis.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Methodical and pragmatic approach to testing with a solid understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, write, execute, and maintain tests and supporting frameworks across :
• UI testing
• Web services and API testing
• Performance testing for APIs and data load processes
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure ongoing coverage and reliability.
• Conduct peer code reviews to promote quality and consistency across automation frameworks.
• Create, manage, and maintain test cases within the test management tool, ensuring alignment between manual and automated coverage.
• Maintain and update visual testing baselines to reflect expected UI changes.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across testing practices, tooling, and automation approaches.
