Job summary

Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) is recruiting a Test Analyst in Liverpool. You will contribute to planning, preparation and execution of testing for a large change portfolio and smaller initiatives, working with business, technical colleagues and third party suppliers.

The role requires knowledge of testing best practices, the ability to maintain USS’s testing standards and flexibility to support delivery of change. Hybrid working with autonomous, influential collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent test analysis, test preparation and execution skills.
• Experience of full testing lifecycle from requirements to test execution across phases (Integration, UAT, Regression).
• Use of testing tools for execution and defect management including test automation.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop test plans with stakeholders, including risk-based testing across all phases.
• Assess requirements, data models, designs and prototypes for testability.
• Produce high-quality test deliverables such as test scenarios, scripts and expected results.
• Collaborate with technical teams to set up tests and data for execution.
• Design and build automated tests where appropriate and maintain test environments.
