Job description
Availability Window

We are looking for a Shift Leader available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 14:00 to 23:00.

Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also support flexible schedules of at least 12 hours per week.

The available times are scheduled weekly and we provide a 3‑week notice of your shifts. We support flexibility, so if your availability matches closely to advertised times, we encourage you to apply.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do.

It takes great people to run our stores, and your role as Shift Leader will ensure customers enjoy a smooth shopping experience. You will oversee the store from the shop floor, inspiring your colleagues and improving daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating your team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Be there for customers, listening to them and ensuring they find what they need.
  • Look for ways to improve service, including coaching your colleagues and giving feedback.
  • Guide and support colleagues to maintain a safe store environment.
  • Maintain a great understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering actions that improve operations.
  • Lead from the front, setting a great example for your colleagues in everything you do.

Please note that you must be 18 or over to apply for this role.
