A leading grocery retailer is seeking a Shift Leader in Penistone to oversee store operations, manage shifts, and ensure exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will coordinate a team, maintain store standards, and drive performance improvements, all while fostering a positive shopping experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. This role offers competitive pay starting from £14.76 per hour.
The following availability windows apply during the week. Times are in 24‑hour format: Sun 13:00–22:00; Tue 04:45–14:45; Wed 15:30–24:00; Thu 14:00–21:30; Fri 04:45–14:45; Sat 08:00–17:00.
Shift Leader pay: from £14.76 per hour, increasing to £15.97 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It’s policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you’d prefer to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this and would still love to hear from you.
The availability windows indicate the periods in the week when we’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll receive 3 weeks’ notice of your exact shifts. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues; if the times you are available are close to, but not exactly the same as, the advertised times, we’d still like to hear from you.
