A leading retail company in Surrey is looking for a Shift Leader to manage store operations, provide excellent customer service, and support a diverse team. Shift Leader pay: starts from £14.76 per hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too.
The availability windows show the periods in the week we’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will have 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We are happy to support flexibility—if your available times match closely but not exactly the advertised times, we’d still love to hear from you.

It takes a lot of great people to run one of our stores, and it takes a great Shift Leader to support them all and keep things running smoothly. You’ll oversee the store from the shop floor, help customers, and work to make things better for customers, colleagues and communities every day.

Please note: Tesco will recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver’s age. If the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm, or involves roles such as warehouse, beverages, counters, bakery and driving, candidates over 18 will be considered accordingly.
