Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring for store colleagues in the United Kingdom. The role offers a pay rate starting at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores. New colleagues are guaranteed a minimum of 16 hours per week (minimum 12 hours possible by arrangement). You will join a diverse team focused on serving customers with pride and delivering great service.

As part of Tesco, you will help with stocking, customer service, and store duties while supporting flexible working patterns and store-wide goals.

Job description

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work: the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we would still love to hear from you.

• Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

• At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store
