Tesco is hiring a Phone Shop Colleague in Poole. The role focuses on delivering friendly, knowledgeable service to customers and supporting mobile product sales and services in-store.

You’ll join an inclusive team, with a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week and scheduled shifts within available windows. Competitive hourly pay starts at £13.70, rising to £14.97 in M25 stores, with room for growth and flexibility.

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Providing flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions
• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop
• The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup
• A positive, team‑focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.

Tesco Phone Shop Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
