Job summary

Tesco is hiring for store colleagues in the United Kingdom. The role involves serving customers, stock replenishment, and working across store areas with flexibility to fit your life.

You’ll be part of a diverse team focused on great service, with opportunities to learn and progress within Tesco while supporting store operations. We offer guaranteed hours (minimum 16 per week, with options for 12) and a night premium for hours between midnight and 6am.

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25.

For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we would still love to hear from you.
