Job summary

Tesco PLC is hiring for store roles in the United Kingdom. Base rate starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25, with a £2.35 night premium for hours between midnight and 6am.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options for 12 hours if preferred, and flexible working opportunities. You'll be part of a diverse team focused on delivering great service, meeting customers' needs, and building a positive shopping experience.

• Being knowledgeable about your store's performance, understanding the part you play and what we need to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
• Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Being myself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome and always following our policies.
• At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.

Availability Window Days From time To time Sun 21:00:00 06:00:00 Thu 21:00:00 06:00:00 Fri 21:00:00 06:00:00 Sat 21:00:00 06:00:00 Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you. The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we would still love to hear from you.
