About the Role

Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you can work fewer hours down to a minimum of 12.

The availability windows for this role are as follows:

• Tue 16:30:00-24:00:00
• Wed 16:30:00-24:00:00
• Sat 17:30:00-24:00:00

We schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will receive 3 weeks notice of your shifts.

Responsibilities

• Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; give great natural service.
• Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
• Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
• Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand the store's performance and drive service and sales while reducing waste, shrink and delivering profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in best condition.
• Live our values, create a welcoming environment and always follow policies.
• Accept deliveries into the store when required.
