Tesco Colleague role across UK stores is seeking customer-focused team players. Shifts start early (04:30am) with a minimum 12 hours per week. Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance

You will need

• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
