Job summary

Tesco Travel Money, in partnership with Travelex, invites applications for a Bureau Manager in Chester to lead a busy bureau, drive revenue, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will manage and coach the team, monitor performance against KPIs, and ensure compliance across operations. The role combines hands-on service with leadership development in a supportive, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail/financial service environment.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
• Track record of driving revenue, performance and service excellence.
• Experience in retail customer service and maintaining a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and champion your team to deliver excellence daily.
• Drive performance by meeting KPI targets and reviewing data for improvement.
• Ensure compliance metrics are met and internal audits pass.
• Process foreign exchange transactions and online orders accurately to keep customers satisfied.
• Provide expert product and service advice and ensure processes are followed with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ensuring the Bureau consistently meets compliance metrics, successfully passes internal audits, and operates to our business standard operating procedures.
• Working in a fast-paced environment delivering fantastic customer service, processing foreign exchange transactions and online orders accurately so our customers leave happy.
• Putting your training into action and offering expert advice on our products and services.
• Following company processes and paying attention to the detail to ensure everything stays on track.
