Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell products in both Acute and Community sectors.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Advisors and Business Development Managers.
  • Meet sales targets for the defined territory.

Skills

Wound care experience in both acute and community settings

The Role of the Territory Manager

70% of the business will be in the community and 30% in the NHS/Acute. The Territory Manager will promote, sell and ensure proper distribution of products from the portfolio in both the Acute and Community sectors, meeting sales targets for the defined territory.

Customers will include TVNs, Procurement, Nursing Homes, Stoma Nurses, Incontinence Nurses, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, District Nurses and a range of Key Opinion Leaders.

The role requires close collaboration with Clinical Nurse Advisors and Business Development Managers to enhance sales success and support the development and implementation of local business plans that drive formulary compliance and market share growth.

Coverage includes South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The Ideal Person for the Territory Manager
  • Wound care experience in both acute and community settings
  • Experience in pharma, devices or medical consumables also considered
  • Understanding of the NHS buying landscape and prescription route
  • Confident product demonstrator with solid communication skills, particularly around anatomy & physiology
  • Experience selling to hospitals, quick learner, sense of urgency
  • Strong team player who is energetic and looking to make a name for themselves
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding challenging targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and internet use
  • A full driving licence
  • Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK
